Glad You're Here!

‘Maluhia’ is the Hawaiian word for peace, quiet, tranquility

‘Maluhia’ refers to peace, quiet, security, tranquility, serenity; safety; solemn awe and stillness, but it’s really much more than that.  Maluhia is an invitation to reach our purest and honest form, through mindful thoughts, emotions, words, and actions. If we let our minds run free with beliefs, biases, judgment, and rigid thinking, then we will have difficulty knowing ourselves and seeing things as they truly are. This difficulty can lead to both physical and mental impacts on our overall well-being.

Maluhia Psychotherapy is our commitment to see things as they truly are, starting with our mental health. Mental illness affects roughly one in four individuals, impacting their physical well-being while also disrupting their lives. Mental illness can affect anyone, regardless of their income, race, or age.

Our group practice is dedicated to helping you make empowered decisions about your own mental health and treatment options, which is why we are committed to ethical and accessible mental health services.  You are the authority on your needs and wants.  We are here to help you choose what’s right for you.
